ALR 593 Legacy Day

The Bexar County Commissioners Court (Texas) proclaimed August 2, 2008 American Legion Legacy Day in San Antonio. The city has done one too! The Converse 593 Riders set up a “Community Leaders Advisory Committee” and recruited former San Antonio Mayor Howard Peak to help. Mayor Peak set up the proclamations. The Riders are also working with the new District Commander to get the other posts in the area involved.
